Mathias Amare Sendeku | Ethiopia Mathias Amare Sendeku is a medical doctor with more than two years of experience in clinical practice. Currently, Mathias is a lecturer and general practitioner in the Department of Pathology at Debre Markos University School of Medicine. As a medical practitioner, Mathias has provided free medical services in hospitals to the casualties of the war in northern Ethiopia and was part of a medical team that provided free medical, nutritional, and psychological care to war-torn communities by following the footsteps of the war. Mathias holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Bahir Dar University. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, he plans to scale up his current community service and volunteer projects and expand to different aspects of the healthcare sector.
